Preheat oven to 220 degrees.
Put chickpeas and tomatoes in a pan. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, season with salt and pepper and bake for 10 minutes until tomatoes are soft and cracked. Take them out of the oven.
Turn on only the top rack of the oven. Put Kayla on chickpeas and tomatoes, stir. Arrange the sliced halloumi on top and bake for 5-6 minutes until the cheese acquires a golden crust.
Add a little pesto and sprinkle with basil. Serve with bread.
