How To Cook Baked Mackerel With Marinated Beets - Recipe

Required products :

for fish :

  • 3 mackerel fish, cleaned
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 onion, cut into circles
  • 25 grams of ginger root, chopped
  • 3 teaspoons black sesame seeds, roasted
  • 3 teaspoons chopped green onions

for red beets :

  • 500 grams of red beets (boiled or roasted), cut into thin circles
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 100 grams of honey
  • 150 milliliters of red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 125 milliliters of water

for dressing :

  • 2 teaspoons wasabi
  • 100 grams of cream fry

Method of preparation :

Boil 125 milliliters of water in which you put the bay leaf, honey, wine vinegar and black peppercorns. Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to
cool completely. Pour the cooled liquid into a jar together with the beets and cool overnight.

The next day, marinate the mackerel with soy sauce for 20 minutes.

Prepare the dressing by mixing cream fries with wasabi and spices to taste.

Turn on the high temperature oven to heat.

Grease a pan and roast the mackerel, skin side up, until done.

Serve the baked fish with marinated beets, onion rings, ginger, chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
