Required products :

  • 4 sweet pears
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon soft butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 1/4 tea cup of orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon whole yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon granola

Method of preparation :

Cut the pears in half and clean the seeds with a spoon, smear with lemon juice the cut sides of the fruit to prevent browning.

Grease a pan with butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and grated orange peel. Arrange the halved pears in the prepared dish with the cut part facing up.

Bake at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes until the pears are completely soft. During baking, occasionally water the fruit with the syrup separated in the pan.

Remove the pan from the oven and add the vanilla to the liquid in the pan. Cover and allow to cool for at least 2 hours or 24 hours, turning the pears in the mixture at least once to absorb the juices in the pan.

When serving, mix the milk with the maple syrup and place the resulting mixture in the center of each pear. Serve with granola and roasted almonds.
