How To Cook Baked White Beans With Red Peppers And Spicy Sausage - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 500 grams of large white beans
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 red onions
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 150 grams of spicy sausage
  • 600 grams of canned roasted peppers
  • in connection with parsley and dill
  • 1/4 tea cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • salt and pepper

 

Method of preparation :

Cut the onion into semicircles, fry for about 15 minutes on medium heat in 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the chopped garlic, let it cook until soft and then remove the pan from the heat.

Turn the oven to 190 degrees.

Wash the beans, pour into a saucepan and cook on low heat for 30-40 minutes (the beans should soften but not boil). Then transfer to a large pan, add onions, pour 3 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 cups of water. Stir, cover the dish with a sheet of aluminum foil and place in the oven for an hour and a half. During cooking you can add more water so as not to burn the dish.

Half an hour before the beans are fully cooked, add the spicy sausage or sausage of your choice, and 15 minutes before turning off the oven, add the chopped peppers (along with the canned sauce), chopped parsley and dill, wine vinegar, tomato to the delicious mixture in the pan. puree, salt and ground black pepper. Of course, stir everything before returning the dish to bake.

Before serving, sprinkle the beans with olive oil.
