How To Cook Baklava From Puff Pastry With Whipped Cream, Walnuts, Cinnamon And Honey Syrup - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Baklava from puff pastry with whipped cream, walnuts, cinnamon and honey syrup". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

3 eggs
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon honey
cinnamon to taste
puff pastry - 3 sheets measuring about 34 x 27 centimeters (or according to the size and shape of the dish)

Method of preparation :

Roll out the three sheets of puff pastry and bake one of them (do not pierce it).

Separate the yolks from the egg whites and beat the egg whites with the icing sugar.

Put one layer of unbaked dough on the bottom of the pan. Cover with egg whites, sprinkle with walnuts and cinnamon.

It's time for the baked bread, which you also spread with the beaten egg whites and sprinkle with nuts and cinnamon to taste.

The third last row is from the raw dough. Cut into pieces and smear their surface with beaten egg yolks.

Bake the baklava for about 45 minutes, during the first 20 minutes to 200 degrees, then reduce them to 180.

Cut once more along the contours, because the pieces will have stuck together slightly.

Make the syrup. First mix 1/2 teaspoon of sugar with 1/4 cup of water and place the dish on the hob. Stir constantly. Let the combination boil for 5-7 minutes and as soon as you remove from the heat, add honey to it (it should not be boiled, because it will lose its useful properties).

Syrup the finished baklava and leave it overnight or at least a few hours to absorb the sweet liquid well.

Enjoy your meal!
