Learn how to cook "Puff pastry baklava with cinnamon, walnuts and honey topping". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

800 grams of puff pastry
1 egg yolk
100 grams of melted butter

For the filling:
250 grams of honey
100 grams of sugar
1/4 tea cup of water

For the filling:
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons walnuts

Preparation :
Grind the walnuts and mix them with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle the worktop with flour and roll out the dough very thinly. Cut into several pieces according to the size and shape of the container you will use.
Grease a pan with oil and put two layers on top of each other, between them also grease with oil. Spread a thin layer of stuffing, cover with dough, then stuffing again. Continue alternating in the same sequence until the products are exhausted.
The last layer should be of dough, of course. Spread with beaten egg yolk and cut into diamonds.
Bake the baklava in a preheated 180 degree oven until golden brown (about 40-45 minutes).
During this time, make the filling. Bring the water to a boil. When this happens, dissolve the sugar in it and let it boil for 5 minutes. Add the honey and leave the sweet mixture on the stove for another 8 minutes, stirring.
Remove the finished baklava from the oven and wait for it to cool a bit. Cut along the formed contours and pour the honey filling.
Leave it to stand for 7-8 hours at room temperature so that it can absorb the sweetness and you are ready to delight your loved ones with a piece.
Garnish with walnuts if desired.
Enjoy your meal!
