Mix the milk, vanilla and crystal sugar, flour and starch. Put the bowl with the mixture on the stove and stir constantly. The consistency will become thicker, you need to start stirring more vigorously. Turn off the heat when the mixture starts to simmer slightly. A thick slurry should be obtained. Do not stop stirring when the stove is stopped for another 3 minutes so that it does not burn. Then allow the cream to cool, but stir occasionally so that no layer forms on the surface.
When the mixture has cooled, beat the softened butter and start adding it a little at a time until a gentle cream is obtained.
Place one tray on the bottom of a paper baking dish, cut the second into pieces 4-5 cm wide and arrange on the side of the first (to get like another wall of the dish). Spread marmalade on the bottom tray and the resulting "fence". Apply a layer of cream (about 1 cm). Then put whole bananas at the end of the form, and in the middle pieces of fruit, cut according to the remaining free space.
Cover the bananas with cream, but do not smear the "wall". Close with the third tray and spread with marmalade. Sprinkle with crumbs from the pieces left over from cutting the swamps for the "fence".
Put the cake in the refrigerator overnight (minimum 6 hours).
After removing from the refrigerator, cut the form with scissors and remove it. Spread the cream on the whole cake (and the sides) and sprinkle with crushed nuts.
