This banana cake is a great idea for a fruit dessert to make everyone at home happy. It will take you about 2 hours to prepare .

 

Necessary products

  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons soaked bananas
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3 teaspoons flour
  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
  • 3⁄4 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons buttermilk

     For the glaze:

  • 1⁄2 cup butter
  • 1 packet (220 grams) of cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 1⁄2 teaspoons powdered sugar

     For decoration:

  • walnuts, finely chopped
 

Method of preparation

Preheat the oven to 140 degrees and grease a deep baking tray.

In a small bowl, mix the crushed bananas and lemon juice. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt.

Take a large bowl and beat 3⁄4 teaspoon of butter and 2 teaspoons of sugar in it until a light, fluffy mixture is obtained. Beat the eggs one by one and add 2 tablespoons of vanilla. Gradually pour the flour mixture and pour the buttermilk, stirring constantly. Add the bananas.

Pour the finished dough into the pan and bake for about 1 hour. You can check with a toothpick if the cake is ready. Wait for it to cool, then refrigerate for 45 minutes.

To prepare the glaze, beat the butter and cream cheese and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Pour the powdered sugar and beat with a mixer to obtain a smooth mixture.

Apply the finished icing on the cake and sprinkle with walnuts. Enjoy!
