Necessary products

12 small ripe but firm bananas (or cut larger bananas into 2 or 3 pieces)

1 egg

1.5 cups flour

1.5 cups sugar

6 tablespoons sesame seeds (mix white and black)

vegetable oil - for frying

ice water to cool the bananas

Method of preparation:

Peel the bananas. Make a liquid homogeneous mixture of egg, flour and 150 ml of cold water. Pour oil into the pan and put on medium heat (180 degrees). Dip the bananas in the mixture, shake and fry in hot fat to form a golden crust (it takes about 3 minutes). Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel to drain off excess oil.

In a large bowl, break the ice, pour cold water over it and place in the refrigerator.

In another bowl, mix 1 tablespoon oil, sugar and 1-2 tablespoons water, leave on low heat. Make caramel, stirring until the sugar melts and turns golden (be careful not to burn). Add sesame seeds and stir.

You should act very quickly: stick the banana with a fork, dip it in the caramel evenly on all sides, then in the ice water and place on a wire rack or baking paper. If the caramel cools, heat it on low heat for 30 seconds and continue the procedure until the bananas are exhausted.

The only recommendation: consume immediately and protect your ceramic teeth! :)
