Necessary products

 

For the dough:

550 - 600 grams of flour

400 grams of sour cream

45 - 50 grams of butter

pinch of salt

 

powdered sugar for sprinkling

 

For the stuffing:

200 grams of walnuts (or 400 grams of poppy seeds)

1.3 - 1.5 kilograms of sugar

80 - 100 grams of butter

 

Method of preparation :

The dough. Pour the cream into a deep bowl, add the melted butter, a pinch of salt and mix until smooth. Then gradually add the sifted flour and knead the dough.

The stuffing. Cut the walnuts and put them in the oven, bake them lightly. Mix them with the sugar, add the butter and stir until smooth.

From the finished dough form balls the size of a walnut, roll them out and put a thin layer of stuffing. Roll into finger-sized rolls.

Arrange them in a pan greased with oil and place in a well-heated oven for 45-50 minutes.

Sprinkle the finished cakes with powdered sugar.
