Necessary products

For the dough:
3/4 teaspoon flour
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
45 grams butter
1 tablespoon milk

For caramel:
1/4 teaspoon water
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon liquid cream with a fat content of about 20%

For the filling:
250 grams of nuts of your choice or a mix of them (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts ...)

Method of preparation :

Sift the flour, mix it with the powdered sugar, add the chopped butter. Make crumbs from the mixture, then add the milk and knead a pliable dough.

 

Place it on a floured board and knead for another minute, then roll out a layer about 5 millimeters thick.
With the help of corrugated molds, cut circles with a diameter of 5 cm, which you place in the molds themselves and pierce evenly with a fork.


Grease the bottoms of the dishes on the outside with oil and put them in each other (4-5 molds).

 

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes until the dough is red.

In a small saucepan, mix the water and sugar, put on low heat and stir constantly until the sweet white crystals dissolve completely. Bring the syrup to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes without closing the lid.
When you remove the sweet liquid from the heat, pour in the cream, stirring. If balls form, cook the caramel for about a minute to obtain a uniform consistency.


Roast the walnuts and add them to the caramel.

 

Wait for the filling to cool and distribute it in the finished dough baskets.
