Required products :

for baskets:

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons soft butter
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon low-fat yogurt
  • 30 grams of cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup ground pecans
  • 1 cup wholemeal rye flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

for the filling:

  • 1/3 tea cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 tea cup of maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon or whiskey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 tea cup crushed pecans
  • 30 grams of dark chocolate, crushed

Method of preparation :

Spray a 24-well muffin tin with cooking spray. You can also use classic small basket shapes. Sprinkle with a little flour.

Beat the butter, oil, powdered sugar, milk and cream cheese with a mixer until the ingredients are well combined.

Mix the pecans, flour and salt and add them to the liquid ingredients. Knead the dough and divide it into 24 small balls.

Put 1 ball in each muffin cup and press on the bottom and walls to make a basket.

Bake at 180 degrees in a preheated oven for 5 minutes. Allow the baskets to cool for 10 minutes.

Prepare the filling: mix the brown sugar, maple syrup, bourbon, eggs, and 1 tablespoon butter and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a large bowl.

Add the crushed pecans. Put 1 tablespoon of the mixture in each basket and return to the oven for 18 minutes until the filling swells and browns. Allow the baskets to cool for 20 minutes.

Melt the chocolate and make a grid of it on the baskets.
