Necessary products:

2 tea cups beans (pre-soaked for 1 night)

2 medium carrots (cut into large pieces)

1 stalk of celery (cut in bulk)

1/2 onion (chopped)

70 milliliters of olive oil (maybe less if you prefer)

4 cloves garlic

300 grams of pumpkin (cut into pieces)

100 grams of cabbage (black if possible)

1 potato (cut into cubes)

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon ground fennel seeds

Method of preparation:

Soak the beans overnight in cold water. The next day, drain the water and pour into a saucepan. Add the chopped onions, carrots and pumpkin, pour half a liter of water and stew for an hour. Make a puree of 1/3 of the prepared vegetables, return it to the pot with the beans, put the celery, cabbage, potatoes. Add boiling water according to the desired consistency of the dish. Allow it to boil until the products are ready, add salt, pepper, ground fennel seeds, crushed garlic and remove from the heat.

Sprinkle the beans on a plate and serve with homemade freshly baked bread, which you can lightly bake, rub with garlic and sprinkle with olive oil.
