How To Cook Bean Meatballs With Yellow Cheese, Garlic And Cucumber Sauce - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Bean meatballs with yellow cheese, garlic and cucumber sauce". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 200 grams of old beans
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 head onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 200 grams of yellow cheese
  • 100 grams of breadcrumbs
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 teaspoons mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • oil, salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Fill the beans for 8 hours with water, which then drain and boil it clean until ready. Add salt at the end of cooking.

Once the beans have cooled, transfer (without the liquid) to the bowl of a blender, add the chopped onion, garlic clove, salt, pepper and grated yellow cheese.

Beat the egg and pour half over the beans. Grind everything until smooth.

From this mixture, form small meatballs, which you dip in the remaining egg and roll in breadcrumbs.

Grease the bottom of the pan with plenty of oil and arrange the meatballs. Bake them for 10 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees. Of course, you could fry them in a pan, but baking is also a healthier option.

Make a sauce by mixing the cucumber, the remaining 2 garlic cloves, the mustard, the lemon juice, the olive oil and the spices. Puree to serve the bean meatballs.

Have a good time!
