How To Cook Bean Sauce With Onions, Corn And Tomatoes - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 onion
  • 100 grams of corn
  • 100 grams of white and red canned old beans
  • 100 grams of bacon (can sausage or ham)
  • 40 milliliters of olive oil
  • 100 grams of tomatoes in their own juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 150 milliliters of chicken broth
  • salt and spices to taste


Method of preparation :


Finely chop the onion and bacon.

Pour olive oil into a saucepan, put on high heat and pour onion and bacon into the fat. Fry them at a moderate temperature.

When they turn golden, add both types of beans to them, draining the liquid beforehand. Stir.

Then pour the corn and tomatoes (peeled) along with the juice. Stir again and add the sugar, chili sauce, pour the broth (it should completely cover the products), stir.

When you have mixed all the products, wait for the combination to boil and reduce the heat. Cook for about 50 minutes or until evaporated by 2/3.

You can serve the finished sauce both hot and cold.
