Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon dried white beans
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or mint
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Wash the beans, fill it with 4-5 teaspoons of water and leave overnight. In the morning, drain the liquid and pour the beans into a saucepan. Pour clean water (about a liter) and place on the stove. Let the beans boil over medium heat for about an hour.

Finely chop onions and carrots, fry them in hot oil for about 5 minutes. Then add the flour and red pepper, stir and a minute later pour the mixture into the pot with the beans.

Steam the tomatoes with boiling water, peel their skins and cut the flesh into small pieces or grate. Add to the soup, season with oregano or mint, salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything and add a little more water if necessary. Allow the soup to boil on low heat for 15-20 minutes, after which you can serve.
