How To Cook Beans With Walnuts, Garlic And Tomato Sauce - Recipe

Required products :

500 grams of beans

1 sweet pepper

100 grams of walnuts

2 cloves garlic

3 bay leaves

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

2 onions

1 carrot

250 milliliters of tomato juice

link fresh coriander

3 tablespoons oil

3 rose hips

1 teaspoon salt

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the beans and soak them in water overnight. Then drain the old and pour new water, put the bay leaves and put the pot on low heat, where the beans boil for about 90 minutes.

Cut carrots into straws and onions and peppers into large cubes. Finely chop or grind the walnuts. Fry the vegetables together with the nuts and spices for 5 minutes, then pour the tomato juice, reduce the heat and stew everything under the lid for about 25-30 minutes. Add 1 crushed garlic clove and salt to taste to the prepared vegetable sauce.

Close the container with a lid and leave for 5 - 10 minutes to absorb the flavors and aromas.

It's time to mix the beans and sauce, add the finely chopped coriander along with the second clove of garlic and mix thoroughly. Close with a lid and wait another 5 minutes.

You can then serve immediately.
