How To Cook Béchamel Sauce With Onion Flavor And Bay Leaf - Recipe

Required products :

1 1/4 tea cup fresh milk
3 cloves
2 bay leaves
1 small onion
60 grams butter
1/3 teaspoon flour
1 1/4 tea cup liquid cream (low fat or skim)
ground black pepper, nutmeg and salt - to taste

Method of preparation :

Pour the milk into a suitable container and place on the stove to warm, put the bay leaves.
Stick the cloves on the surface of the peeled onion and dip your head in the milk. Remove the pan from the heat.
When the liquid has cooled slightly, strain it.
In a clean, dry pan, heat the butter, add the flour, stir for a minute and remove from the heat. Pour in the warm milk and stir. Put back on the stove and let it cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Then pour the cream and bring the mixture to a boil. When this happens, remove from the heat and add salt and pepper to taste, a little nutmeg.
The sauce is ready.
