Required products :

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup fresh milk
  • 3/4 tea glass of beer
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili sauce
  • 380 grams of shredded cheese
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method of preparation :

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add the flour and stir constantly for 2 minutes.
  • Slowly add the milk and beer. Allow the mixture to simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the sauces and dry mustard and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  • Start adding the cheese hand in hand, stirring until each one is completely melted before adding the next.
  • Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Serve the beer sauce with homemade chips, crackers, fresh vegetables or anything else to taste.
