Required products :

1 head of beets

250 grams of spinach

2 small onions

60 grams of walnuts

4 cloves garlic

2 coriander ties

2 pinches ground coriander (seeds)

2 pinches of hops-suneli (mix of dry spices - dill, basil, bay leaf, saffron, fenugreek, parsley, thyme, hot red pepper and others)

salt and pepper to taste

a little white wine vinegar

pomegranate seeds for decoration

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the beets well (use a brush), wrap in foil and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for an hour. Once cooled, peel and grate.

Pour the washed spinach with boiling water and boil for about 4 minutes, then pour into a colander to drain the liquid.

Peel an onion and garlic, chop them finely or grind with a blender together with the chopped coriander, salt, pepper, other spices and walnuts.

Divide the resulting mixture into two equal parts. Add the beets to one and the spinach (pre-ground) to the other. Put a little white wine vinegar in the spinach mixture.

Form balls of the two combinations, arrange in a suitable plate, decorate the salad with pomegranate seeds and serve.
