Required products :
2 medium beets
100 grams of walnuts
garlic to taste
homemade mayonnaise to taste
salt at will and to taste
Method of preparation :
You can steam the beets or bake them in the oven. When cool, peel and grate on a coarse grater.
If you have boiled, the beets will be juicy, so drain the liquid with a colander or squeeze lightly with your hands. Otherwise the salad will become watery and will not be able to form.
Roast the walnuts in a dry pan and break into large pieces. Peel the garlic cloves and mash with a press.
Mix the grated beets with the garlic and walnuts, add the mayonnaise (as desired) and stir. If necessary, add salt.
Form a beautifully prepared salad, smearing the surface with mayonnaise and sprinkle with nuts.
You can put it in the fridge for 2 hours before serving, so the shape you have given will be preserved.
