Necessary products:

4 tsp flour

400 g butter

1 tsp water

1 egg

300-400 g of berries

0.5 tsp sugar

1.5 tsp starch

1 sec. l. powder zakhar

pinch of salt

Method of preparation:

Prepare the dough in advance or use ready-made puff pastry. Add salt, softened butter to the sifted flour and rub with your hands to get crumbs. Then pour the water (cold) and knead the dough. Wrap it in foil and leave it in the fridge for a day, periodically (5-6 times) pulling it out and wrapping it nicely. The next day, roll out and cut the dough into rectangles with approximate dimensions of 10 by 15 cm.

Wash the strawberries, dry them and cut into 2 or 4 pieces (depending on their size). Mix the sugar with the starch. At the end of each rectangle put the stuffing, sprinkle with sugar and roll. Pinch the edges so that the juice does not run out during baking.

Arrange the pies in a pan greased with butter and spread them with beaten egg. Bake in a preheated oven to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes (until golden brown). Sprinkle the finished pies with powdered sugar.
