Cookies with chocolate chips can acquire an interesting taste if we add nuts and fruits to them. Here we present one such recipe - with cashews and dried cranberries. The ingredients are for 30 biscuits , and cooking will take you about 30 minutes .

 

Necessary products

  • 200 grams of chocolate, broken into large pieces
  • 100 grams of roasted cashews, finely chopped
  • 50 grams of dried cranberries
  • 100 grams of peanut butter
  • 150 grams of butter, cut into large cubes
  • 250 grams of flour
  • 200 grams of powdered sugar
  • 1 egg, broken
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup

 

Method of preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Prepare two trays and put baking paper in them.

In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and 1/2 tablespoon of salt. Add the butter and peanut butter. Mix all ingredients until a thick homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Pour the egg and golden syrup and beat to get a smooth dough. Add the chocolate pieces and cranberries and stir again.

From the ready mixture form balls and arrange them in the trays. Flatten them slightly and leave enough space between them. Bake for about 12 minutes in the preheated oven until golden. Allow cooling to room temperature before serving. Have fun!
