Method of preparation :
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease a rectangular pan and cover the bottom with baking paper.
Beat with a mixer on medium speed in a large bowl the sugar and butter until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating constantly. Reduce speed and add the ricotta, lemon zest, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and vanilla and continue beating. Pour the flour, baking powder and salt and homogenize on low speed. Add the blueberries and mix gently with a spatula. Pour the mixture into the pan.
Bake the cake for 1 hour until it starts to brown at the edges, then take it out of the pan and leave to cool slightly.
Mix in a small bowl the powdered sugar with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice until homogeneous. Spread the cake with the resulting mixture. Cut into pieces and serve.
