How To Cook Boiled Egg Croquettes With Ham And Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 5 eggs
  • 40 grams of boiled ham
  • 30 grams of guada / emmental or yellow cheese
  • 30 grams of flour + extra for breading
  • 150 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 30 grams of butter
  • breadcrumbs
  • oil
  • left
  • pepper


Method of preparation :

Boil (hard), peel and finely chop 4 of the eggs.

Melt the butter in a pan, add the flour, fry it for 2 minutes, stirring and gradually pour the milk.

Cook the sauce for 5 minutes, stirring often. Then remove from the heat and cool slightly.

Cut the ham into small cubes, grate the cheese coarsely.

Mix the eggs, ham and cheese with the sauce, season to taste and stir.

With wet hands, form small balls from the resulting mass. Roll them in flour, then dip in the last egg (beaten) and finish the breading with breadcrumbs.

Fry the croquettes until golden in hot oil. Remove the finished ones with a slotted spoon and place them on paper.

Serve hot.
