This raw sweet treat is perfect for a treat for your holiday if you want to offer homemade candies instead of buying from the store.

Required products :

  • 1 packet of vanilla biscuits, finely ground
  • 1 cup roasted walnuts or crushed pecans
  • 3/4 tea cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tea bourbon
  • 2 and 1/2 tablespoons corn syrup (or maple syrup)
  • powdered sugar

Method of preparation :

Mix the crushed vanilla biscuits, walnuts (or pecans), powdered sugar and cocoa powder in a bowl until a homogeneous combination is obtained. 

In another bowl, homogenize the bourbon with the corn syrup (or maple syrup) and pour into the bowl with the biscuit mixture. Mix well and form small candies from the mixture.

Roll them in powdered sugar and serve. You can store the candies in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks in a closed box.
