Add the yeast to the warm water and leave for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, mix the flour, basil, parmesan, sugar, baking powder, salt and oregano.
Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and yeast. Stir with a spatula, then knead by hand on a kitchen counter until the dough is soft (about 5 minutes).
Transfer to a greased clean bowl and cover with a towel, wait for it to rise until it doubles in size (about 1 hour).
Preheat oven to 220 degrees.
Sprinkle the dough with a little flour and transfer it to the kitchen counter. Divide it into 30 equal balls, then shape each into a wick 15 cm long.
Put a strip of bacon on each wick and tie a knot, pushing the ends from the bottom.
Arrange in a paper-lined pan and bake for 20 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the bread is browned.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, crushed garlic cloves and the remaining 2 tablespoons of parmesan.
Coat the knots with this mixture and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
Serve sprinkled with parsley and marinara sauce.
