Learn how to cook "Bread pudding with bananas, raisins, nuts and caramel crust". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

6-8 thick slices of stale bread (can be white or wholemeal)
2-3 bananas
1/2 tea cup raisins
1/2 tea cup nuts of your choice (walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans)
4 eggs
2 tea cups fresh milk
1/2 tea cup brown sugar (you can use white)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
25 grams butter
sugar (brown or white) for sprinkling - optional

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 175 degrees.

Cut the bread into small pieces, peel the bananas and cut into circles. Mix them, add the raisins, coarsely chopped nuts and pour everything into a suitable baking dish (glass or ceramic).

In a deep bowl, beat the eggs until a light foam forms, pour in the milk, add the sugar and vanilla extract.

Beat again to mix the products well.

Pour the resulting mixture over the bread and fruit and press with a fork to the bottom of the bowl so that the bread is covered with the liquid and absorbs it. Put pieces of oil on the surface. If desired, sprinkle generously with sugar.

Bake the pudding in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. It will form a crispy caramel crust.

Serve the delicacy with whipped cream, vanilla sauce or vanilla ice cream.

Enjoy your meal!
