How To Cook Bread Sandwich Stuffed With Ham, Mozzarella, Tomatoes And Olives - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 large round loaf of white bread
  • 9 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 red sweet peppers
  • 1/2 head red lettuce
  • connection basil
  • 20 pitted green olives
  • 250 grams of mozzarella
  • 3 fresh tomatoes
  • 3 pieces of boiled ham
  • salt, pepper

 

Method of preparation :

Cut off the top of the loaf, carve the inside and sprinkle the resulting "bowl" with olive oil.

Peel the red peppers, cut them into four pieces and fry in the remaining fat.

Cut the other stuffing products (mozzarella, ham, tomatoes, onions and olives) into thin circles and divide them into two equal parts. 

Start filling the bread, alternating: peppers, onions, basil, olives, mozzarella, seasoned with salt and pepper tomato slices, again basil and finally ham. 

Then make another layer of products, following the same sequence, but finish with tomatoes. 

Close the bread with the previously cut "lid". 

Wrap the whole loaf in plastic wrap and place some weight on it so that the filling separates its juice and the sandwich absorbs it. 

Leave it for at least 2 hours (it is best to have patience overnight), after which you can eat it.
