Required products :

  • 3/4 cup soft butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange or lemon juice
  • grated peel of 1 citrus
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 1/2 cup yogurt with vanilla flavor
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh finely chopped rosemary
  • 1.5 teaspoons wheat flour

 

For the glaze:

  • 3-4 tablespoons freshly squeezed citrus juice (orange / lemon)
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar

 

Method of preparation :

Beat the butter with the sugar, add the lemon juice, grated citrus peel and vanilla sugar.

Then the yogurt and eggs, which you put one by one, beating after each.

It is the order of the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt and rosemary. Stir until smooth.

Pour the finished dough into a greased and parchment-covered cake pan.

Bake the bread at 175 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

Once it is ready, wait for it to cool for ten minutes and then remove from the pan. Place on a wire rack and let cool completely.

Make a glaze by beating the powdered sugar with the citrus juice. Pour it over the already cold product and decorate with rosemary leaves.
