Required products :

  • 150 grams of whole wheat flour
  • 250 grams of wheat flour
  • 10 grams of fresh yeast
  • 8 grams of salt
  • 100 milliliters of water
  • maximum 250 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 70 grams of honey
  • 20 grams of oil
  • 5 cloves
  • 3 grams of fresh ginger
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Method of preparation :

Put the grated ginger, cloves, cinnamon in the water and let everything boil for 3-5 minutes on low heat. Close the container with a lid and allow to cool. Then strain and top up with milk (maximum 250 milliliters). Mix the two types of flour, break the yeast with your hands and mix all the products with a food processor for two minutes. Close and leave for 15 minutes. Then knead on medium speed for 7 minutes. The dough should be soft and stick to the hands. Then knead with your hands and, if necessary, grease your palms with oil. Shape the dough into a ball, place in a bowl, cover and leave for 15 minutes.

Roll out the dough with your hands in the form of a rectangle, roll it into a roll, place it in a greased pan with the edge down, cover and leave for 40 minutes. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven until ready (about 40 - 50 minutes).

 

You can replace honeydew with dark honey.
