How To Cook Bread With Roasted Peppers, Ricotta And Garlic - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1/2 cup fresh milk
  • 1 egg + 1 yolk
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 450 grams of flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 6 grams of dry yeast
  • 1 sweet red pepper
  • 200 grams of ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon oil

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the pepper, cut into four, clean the seeds. Sprinkle with oil and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 220 degrees.

Sift the flour into a bowl and add the dry yeast, sugar and salt.

Beat the egg and ricotta with the milk. Pour this mixture into the flour and make a dough.

Put it on a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.

Then place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel and leave for an hour and a half in a warm place to rise.

Put the already roasted peppers in a plastic bag, which is tightly closed. Let it sit for 10 minutes to steam, and then peel the skins.

Finely chop the meat, chop the garlic as well.

Add them to the dough, which then divide into 12 equal parts, which you form into balls.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Arrange the loaves in a greased pan, spread the yolk on them and make a cross cut on their surface.

Cover with plastic wrap and leave for 15 minutes in a warm place.

Before baking until golden (20 minutes), sprinkle with coarse salt.
