Learn how to cook "Pies stuffed with dried tomatoes and yellow cheese". Delicious recipe.
Necessary products
For the dough:
300 grams of flour
200 milliliters of water
2 teaspoons dry yeast
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
For the stuffing:
200 grams of yellow cheese or other suitable cheese
5 dried tomatoes
1 clove of garlic
2 eggs (one for the filling, the other - for spreading on the bread)
50 grams of parmesan for sprinkling
Method of preparation :
Pour the yeast with warm water and stir.
Sift 200 grams of flour and add salt. Make a dent in it and pour olive oil there.
Add warm water with the yeast and stir until a homogeneous sticky mass is obtained. Cover with a towel and leave to rise in a warm place (for about an hour).
Take care of the stuffing.
Grate the yellow cheese with a large grater, cut the dried tomatoes into small pieces, mash the garlic with a press. Mix the products prepared in this way and add the egg to them and stir. If desired, you can add salt and spices of your choice.
When the dough rises, add the remaining flour and knead until smooth.
Divide it into 4 parts. Shape each into a ball and stretch with your hands in a circle, pressing a little.
In the middle put the stuffing (1 tablespoon with a tip).
Then "close" the edges, forming loaves.
Arrange them in a tray, the bottom of which you have covered with parchment. Spread with beaten egg and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
Place in a preheated 180 degree oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes.
Enjoy your meal!
