How To Cook Breaded Chicken Necks With Garlic And Ginger - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 kg of chicken neck
  • 2 small hot red peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemongrass, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped ginger
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 400 milliliters of coconut milk
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • salt and pepper

Method of preparation :

  • In a large glass bowl, mix the finely chopped hot peppers, lemongrass, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sugar and coconut milk. Stir well.
  • Add the chicken necks to the mixture, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave to marinate in the fridge for 24 hours.
  • Heat oil to a depth of about 7 cm in a pan over medium heat.
  • Put the flour in a large bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove the chicken necks from the marinade, roll in the flour, shake off the excess and fry on both sides until golden brown.
  • Remove on kitchen paper to drain off excess fat.
  • Serve the breaded necks warm, garnished with slices of lime and sweet chili sauce.
