How To Cook Breaded Chickpeas With Milk Sauce - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Breaded chickpeas meatballs with milk sauce". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons chickpea flour
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons black mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 500 milliliters of beer
  • 1/2 cup coriander, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup of grated potatoes, pumpkin and carrots
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas, blanched and drained
  • frying oil

for the sauce:

  • 200 grams of yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons finely grated ginger
  • bark of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped mint leaves

Method of preparation :

Prepare the sauce by mixing all the products for it. Refrigerate to cool before serving.

Combine the flour with the spices. Then add the vegetables and beer. Stir well.

Heat oil in a pan, it should be about 3 inches from the bottom of the pan. Using a spoon, add small pieces of the mixture and fry until golden for about 1-2 minutes on each side. Drain on paper.

Serve the chickpeas with sauce and garnish with coriander.
