How To Cook Breaded Yellow Cheese With Walnut Filling - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Breaded yellow cheese with walnut filling". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 400 grams of yellow cheese or suitable hard cheese
  • 100 grams of walnuts
  • 150 milliliters of fresh milk
  • 1 egg
  • 100 grams of breadcrumbs
  • 50 grams of ready-made breading mixture
  • frying oil

Method of preparation :

Cut the yellow cheese into pieces about 5 cm wide and about 1 cm thick. The number should be even so that you can shape them into pairs.

Beat the egg with the milk. Crush the walnuts in bulk or cut with a knife.

Make shallow "grooves" with the knife in the middle of the pieces of cheese. Fill half of the yellow cheese tiles with walnuts and place the rest on the stuffed ones.

Pour the breadcrumbs and the prepared breading mixture into a suitable container.

Dip each pair in the milk-egg liquid, then roll in the dry mixture. Repeat the procedure 3-4 more times and fry in very hot vegetable oil (about a minute on each side).

The breading should turn red and firm, but the yellow cheese should not spill.

Remove the finished appetizer on paper to drain off excess fat.

Serve the cheese hot.
