How To Cook Broccoli And Chickpea Pancakes With Spicy Ketchup - Recipe

You can enjoy these pancakes with broccoli and chickpeas with light spices for both lunch and dinner.

Necessary products

for 5-6 pancakes:

  • 1/4 cup chickpea flour
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

for the spicy ketchup:

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot and smoked red pepper

for garnish:

  • 1 tablespoon coriander, chopped
  • 1 hot green pepper, cut into circles

* A tea cup is used to measure the quantities.

Method of preparation

spicy ketchup:

In a small bowl, mix the ketchup, hot and smoked paprika and set aside.

pancakes:

Grind onions and broccoli until fine.

Sift the rice and chickpea flour into a bowl. Add water and eggs and mix until smooth. Pour the finely chopped onions and broccoli and season with curry powder and salt to taste, stir.

Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan. Pour 1/4 cup of the pancake mixture and bake until golden brown. Then turn the pancake over and cook on the other side until golden. Continue until the mixture is done.

Serve the pancakes with the spicy ketchup sauce, hot green pepper and chopped coriander.
