How To Cook Broccoli Meatballs With Parmesan, Garlic And Yellow Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 340 grams of frozen broccoli
  • 3/4 teaspoon breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated yellow cheese
  • 1/3 tea cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • salt and pepper

Method of preparation :

 

  • Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Saute onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes and remove from heat.
  • Place the frozen broccoli in a colander and let them thaw for about 30 minutes or more if needed. Drain and cut into large pieces.
  • In a large bowl, mix the eggs, breadcrumbs, grated cheese and parmesan. Stir and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the broccoli and stir again.
  • Use 1/2 tea cup of the mixture to form the meatballs and distribute them in a greased pan.
  • Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for about 15 minutes, turn them carefully and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve the broccoli meatballs warm, garnished with your choice.
