How To Cook Bruschetta With Mushrooms, Thyme And Garlic - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Bruschetta with mushrooms, thyme and garlic". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 400 grams of mushrooms cut into slices
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 clove garlic, unpeeled
  • 4 slices of bread of your choice
  • cold pressed olive oil for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  • Add the mushrooms and saute for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the balsamic vinegar, sprinkle with sugar and cook for another 30 seconds until caramelized.
  • Add the thyme and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Remove from the heat.
  • Toast the bread slices and rub them with the garlic clove.
  • Spread the mushrooms on them, sprinkle with a few drops of olive oil and serve.
