Required products :

  • 3 teaspoons flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons lard (at room temperature)
  • 1 1/4 tea cup fresh milk or water
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
  • frying oil

Method of preparation :

Combine the flour with the spices. Add the fat and with the help of a potato masher press to become crumbs the size of peas.

Add 1 cup of milk to the mixture and knead, if you find it dry, add a little more milk - 1 tablespoon, stirring.

When you form a dough, transfer it to a floured baking sheet and knead it until it stops sticking and becomes smooth. Cover with foil and cool for 30-60 minutes until firm enough to work easily with the dough.

Divide the dough into two parts and roll out, then cut into small triangles.

Heat the fat in a pan and fry the buns, adding a few. Drain on paper and transfer to a plate. Keep them warm in a slightly preheated oven while frying the rest.

Mix honey with hot pepper.

Serve the buns drizzled with hot honey.
