  • 3/4 tea cup of warm milk
  • 1/4 tea cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 broken egg
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • frying oil

for glaze and topping:

  • 2 teaspoons powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons fresh milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Method of preparation :

Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Put the sugar, butter, salt in the milk and let it melt.

Pour the milk into the bowl of the mixer and mix with 1 cup of flour.

Add the yeast and the beaten egg.

Add the remaining flour. Knead with a mixer (with a dough hook) for 5 minutes.

Place the dough under a towel to rise for an hour until it doubles in volume.

Then mix it by hand and leave to rise for another 30 minutes.

Divide it into two balls, each roll into a rectangle, which you cut into 6 smaller rectangles.

Place them on parchment paper, cover and leave to rise again for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the buns until golden.

Drain them on kitchen paper, then cool on a wire rack.

Mix all products for the glaze. Pour the buns with it and finally sprinkle with bacon.
