Spread the puff pastry, cut it in half lengthwise. Cut strips to width.
Spread bacon and yellow cheese on half of the cuttings, and spread the rest with pesto and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Sprinkle both parts with black pepper and twist each strip so that you get wicks. Arrange them in a lined tray with a sheet of parchment paper, preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake until golden. Arrange the pickles and serve.
