How To Cook Butter Buns With Cherry Jam And Sugar Coating - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Butter buns with cherry jam and sugar coating". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1 kg of puff pastry
  • 360 grams of cherry jam or fresh cherries (according to the season)
  • 1 egg (to spread the dough)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (if using fresh fruit)

 

Method of preparation :

Roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut it into triangles.

 

In the wide part of each put a little of the jam (or a few fresh, pitted cherries, sprinkled with sugar).

 

Roll up.

 

Arrange in a tray with a pre-covered with a sheet of parchment bottom. Smear their surface with the beaten egg, using a cooking brush for application. Sprinkle with a little sugar.

 

Bake the puff pastry rolls for about 15-20 minutes in the oven preheated to 200 degrees.
