Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon softened butter
  • 2 teaspoons crystal sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 3 teaspoons white wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder / baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk

for the glaze:

  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter cubes
  • 1/4 tea cup plain drinking water
  • 1-1 / 2 teaspoon almond and vanilla extracts

Method of preparation :

Using a mixer, beat the soft butter and sugar into crystals until you get a light fluffy cream. Add the eggs one by one, adding each one after the previous one has been absorbed by the mixture. Add the vanilla. Sift the flour with the leavening agents (soda and baking powder) and the salt into another bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cream, alternating with the buttermilk and stirring constantly with the mixer before each subsequent addition of flour or liquid.

Pour the mixture into a greased cake tin and bake for 1 hour at 170 degrees, until dry. Cool for 10 minutes, then turn over on a wire rack placed in a pan.

For the filling, combine the sugar, butter and water in a small saucepan. Heat the stove to medium heat, and melt the butter and sugar. Remove the pan from the heat and add the flavors.

Use a skewer to make holes in the cake and pour it with 1/4 tea cup of the sauce, wait for the cake to absorb it, then repeat 2 more times.

Make holes on the sides of the cake and spread the rest of the sauce.

Allow the cake to cool completely before cutting and serving.
