Required products :

  • 1 1/4 teaspoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup soft butter
  • 1/2 cup brown and white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 tea cup full-fat coconut shavings

Method of preparation :

Mix the flour, salt and baking powder.

In a bowl, mix the butter with the two types of sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla and stir again until you get a light and fluffy mixture. Gradually add the flour, then the coconut and combine for the last time.

Grease a pan with oil. Take 1 teaspoon of the dough and make piles with a large distance between them in the pan (about 5-6 centimeters).

Bake them for 8-10 minutes until golden brown at 170 degrees.

Cool on a wire rack, then serve.
