Required products :

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 6-8 pieces of bacon (baked)
  • 8 eggs (separate one yolk to spread)
  • 4 teaspoons fresh milk (or liquid cream)
  • 1 small onion
  • parsley


Method of preparation :

Before starting to work with the dough, let it stand for at least 20 minutes.

Cut the bacon into pieces, chop the onion.

Beat the eggs (except 1 yolk) together with the milk / cream.

Spread one sheet of dough on the bottom of the pan, covering part of the walls of the dish with it. Pierce in several places with a fork and sprinkle onions on the surface.

Add the bacon and chopped fresh parsley to taste to the eggs, stir and pour over the onion.

Cover with the second sheet of dough, pinch the edges and remove the excess.

You can make some patterns or strokes with a knife on the surface.

Put the pie in the oven and let it bake for 20 minutes. Then remove, cover with aluminum foil and return to bake for another 5 minutes (this is done so as not to burn the dish).
