Required products :

For the bark :

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 6 tablespoons chilled butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

About the filling :

  • 250 grams of bacon, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 tea cup whole cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated yellow cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

  • In a bowl, mix the flour and salt.
  • Cut the butter on them and use your fingers to "rub" it into the dry ingredients.
  • Add the egg and knead a soft dough, adding a little water if necessary.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Roll out a crust with a diameter of about 23 centimeters, transfer it to a greased form and bake in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the filling by stewing the bacon in a pan over medium heat.
  • Remove with a slotted spoon and sauté the onion in the separated fat for 4-5 minutes until soft.
  • Beat the eggs in a bowl and add the cream. Stir.
  • Add onion, parsley, cheese, yellow cheese, onion and bacon.
  • Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared crust and bake in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes
  • Serve the quiche warm, garnished with lettuce.
