How To Cook Butter Rolls With Pumpkin, Cinnamon And Cream Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 400 grams of puff pastry
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 230 grams of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 2/3 tea cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees and cover two large baking trays with parchment paper.
  • Spread the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  • In a large bowl, beat the pumpkin puree, cream cheese, salt, cinnamon, ginger and sugar with a mixer until smooth.
  • Add the egg and turn on the mixer again briefly.
  • Spread the filling on the dough and roll it tightly.
  • Cut into slices about 1.5 cm thick using a sharp knife or floss.
  • Distribute the puff pastry rolls in the prepared pans and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow them to cool briefly, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
