Required products :

  • 5 eggs
  • 3 slices of bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 300 grams of minced beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcester sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 tea cup green onions
  • 1/4 tea cup finely chopped green olives
  • 1/4 tea raisins
  • 1 puff pastry
  • flour (if you need it when rolling)
  • black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Boil 4 of the eggs for 6 minutes in boiling water. Once they are ready, immediately pour cold water on them, wait for them to cool and peel.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Cut the bacon into cubes and fry until crispy, in a pan without added fat. Remove the bacon to a plate and add the finely chopped onion and two crushed garlic cloves to the pan. Stir and wait 2-3 minutes to simmer and the onion to become transparent. Add the minced meat and grind it, fry until done and season with salt and pepper. Pour in the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce and paprika. A minute later, add the broth, bacon and bring to a boil.

In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 2 teaspoons of water and pour over the remaining products to thicken the sauce. Wait 3-4 minutes and add the olives and raisins. Remove from the heat.

Roll out the dough slightly, keeping its rectangular shape. Cut into 4 large squares and in the center of each put the minced meat. Place a boiled egg on top.

Beat the separated egg and spread the dough on the edges. Fold the corners towards the center and press them well, holding them together. Put in a pan covered with baking paper. Brush with beaten egg and bake in the oven for 15 minutes until browned.

Enjoy them while they are still warm!
