How To Cook Butter With Salt And Thyme - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Butter pickles with yellow cheese and thyme". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1/4 tea cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon + 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • a pinch of paprika
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon + 3 tablespoons grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 5 large eggs

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and cover the bottom of two pans with baking paper.
  • Add the butter with 1 teaspoon of water in a large saucepan and heat the mixture until it boils. Remove from the heat.
  • Add the flour, red pepper and salt and mix vigorously.
  • Return the pan to the hob, reduce the power of the hob and stir for 1-2 minutes.
  • Transfer the dough to a large bowl, add the yellow cheese and the grated cheese and beat with a mixer on low speed.
  • Gradually add 4 eggs, beating after each addition.
  • Spread the dough in the prepared trays, using a teaspoon to form the pickles. Leave about 2 inches between them.
  • Beat the remaining egg with 1 tablespoon of water and spread them.
  • Sprinkle with the remaining grated yellow cheese and thyme leaves and bake for 20-25 minutes until they swell and acquire a golden brown color.
  • Allow the pickles to cool briefly before serving.
